An itchy scalp can be due to many reasons but one of the most common is dry or waste products used for styling that accumulate in this sensitive area.
Like the rest of the skin of our body, the scalp is renewed every 28 days, eliminating dead cells and generating new, healthy cells. The very cold temperatures, lack of moisture or reaction to harsh chemicals and dyes, relaxers, etc. or simply an accumulation of waste products disrupt the natural exfoliation process of leather, causing cells to accumulate and become a kind of thin foil.
This accumulation causes the hair follicles are saturated by blocking the secretion of natural bait and eventually causing an excessive dryness.
Symptoms of battered scalp
- If your scalp is irritated and itchy after you use dyes, dryer or a straightening means is ultra sensitive and you should give it a break.
- If you notice white flakes in certain areas of your hair rather than dandruff, can be a sign that your scalp is dry. This is because often only apply to our hair moisturizing products directly, but forget the leather. It is very important to keep the scalp moist if we are growing strong and healthy new strands.
- If after the use of any product in your hair, whatever, you notice that you have outbreaks or fire, it is safer to have had an allergic reaction and you should discontinue use immediately. Go to your doctor or a dermatologist to recommend you the best treatment.
